Service overview

Moral Home is an MOH accredited subsidized private nursing home that provides long-term and respite care for the aged sick. Admission to the home is through MOH referral and direct application. Pre-admission interview is conducted to assess an applicant's eligibility and levels of care needed. Upon acceptance, the Home will conduct a Means-Test to determine the extent of subsidies each applicant is eligible.

Staff skill enhancement and training

Staff training is an integral part of Moral Home’s operation. All clinical staff that forms the core of nursing home operation would be required to undergo regular Clinical Domains trainings, certifications and updates in line with MOH Enhanced Nursing Home Standards (ENHS).  These trainings include Infection Control, Hand Hygiene /Donning/Doffing PPE, Proper Skin Care for residents, Dignity of Care, and Proper Transferring technique. Other trainings, certifications and seminars such as CPR/AED, Food Safety and Hygiene, and Covid Incident Management may also involve staff from business office, kitchen and logistics.
